I go to yoga on a Friday mornings and this Friday I’m holding the humble warrior position when for the first time in a long time the instructor comes behind me and places her index finger and middle finger very lightly on my wrist and applying the smallest amount of pressure, gently moves my arms further upwards and therefore deeper into the stretch.

I feel a sensation move through my body
familiar and yet long lost.
.
That gentle attention.
The smallest of contacts.
Asexual but powerful.
A yearned-for feeling.
